Witam,
I never requested a translation before, please tell me if I am doing it wrong. My grandmother's grandfather Ferdinand Kneifel was born 1831 in Swiecia, Poland, near Konin. My mother was also born in this village, in 1910. I visited this place in 1991. I think there is a lot of information in Ferdinand's birth record. Could someone help me with a translation, please?

It happened in Konin on the 3rd day of June 1831 at noon. Appeared Gotlieb Kneifel, miller living in Konin, 32 years old in the presence of Jan Pock, painter, 55 years old and Jan Schmidt, painter, 30 years old, both living in Konin and presented Us a male child born on the 22nd day of May of the current year at 10 p.m. with his legal wife Anna Regina Fryderyka nee Petermunn, 28 years old.
At the Holy Baptism held today the child was given the names Ferdynand August and the godparents were: Jan Pock and Dorota Schmidt from Konin.
This act was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses, and signed by the witnesses. the declarant is illiterate. |
